  Lovely staff, and great beer. The food is a bit pricey for what it is though. Can get really busy when the sun shines, so sitting inside can be at a premium. Fantastic location.

  Nice if the weather allows you to sit outside with a dog but forget it if you need to go inside! Dogs only allowed in the bar so if after a nice walk along the canal you would like some lunch inside don't bother with here! A nice enough food menu is spoiled by having to sit in a old fashioned, dusty, tiled floor bar which is badly in need of a repaint with the local old bloke having his pints. I like traditional but this is just old. I can't comment on the restaurant but based on the bar I wouldn't bother to find out!
